Newsweek: Cruise Passenger Tried to Throw His Partner from The Ship – Charged With Attempted Murder

Newsweek.com reports that 46-year-old Queensland, Australia resident David James Fysh is being charged with attempted murder, after attempting to throw his partner from a cruise ship.

The incident allegedly occurred on October 18th at approximately 3:30 A.M as Fysh and his partner sailed aboard the Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas on a five-day itinerary. Cruise ship security personnel were called by passengers who reported to have seen Fysh try to pick his partner up under her arms, causing her to scream for help.

Police took Fysh into custody upon the ship’s arrival in Hobart.
