The BostonGlobe.com reports that earlier this week a man was charged with sexually assaulting a minor aboard a cruise ship.

The alleged perpetrator was identified as 30-year-old Adam Christopher Boyd of Bay Springs. He is accused of sexually assaulting a minor as they sailed on a seven-day cruise to Bermuda. The victim reported the incident while the ship was docked in Bermuda, and the ship’s authorities then reported the incident to police on the island. Bermuda police subsequently arrested Boyd and held him for extradition.

Boyd was charged with sexually assaulting a minor on Wednesday, and is currently awaiting extradition from Bermuda to the U.S.
