A couple is seeking $5 million in compensation after the husband was injured on a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise ship.

The plaintiffs, Kieran Michael and Cecilia Gulas, filed suit against NCL (Bahamas) LTD, doing business as Norwegian Cruise Lines, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida late last month. The couple alleges that Kieran was injured on June 23, 2016 in a collision with another passenger on the Aqualoop Waterslide aboard a NCL cruise ship.

According to the suit, Kieran suffered serious injuries due to NCL’s negligence. Specifically, NCL is accused of failing to put policies in place which would have ensured the safe operation of the waterslide. The suit says that Kieran’s injuries have resulted in Cecilia suffering from a loss of love and affection from her husband.
